Sensory Sensitive Morning at the Lighthouse

A sensory friendly outdoor experience for individuals on the autism spectrum and with sensory sensitivities, as well as their families and caregivers. Early admission provides a relaxed environment for attendees to learn about Jupiter's history, and enjoy an optional climb of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse.

Quiet spaces are provided for those with extra sensitivities. Each month features a new activity which can be taken home after the visit. 

Families are welcome to climb to the top of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse during Sensory Sensitive Mornings. Children must be at least 48” tall to climb the Lighthouse. Program takes place in part outside, and is weather dependent. 

The Lighthouse and grounds open to the general public at 10am.
