Storytime & Crafts for Kids

Craft with us under the shade of the Seminole Chickee as we read exciting stories about Lighthouse Keepers, Florida history, and local plants and animals!

This program is ideal for those in Pre-K to Kindergarten. Please bring a small beach towel or mat for your child, as well as a bottle of water.

Readings begin at 10:30AM and activities finish by 11:30AM. This program is $5 per child with 1 parent to accompany. Additional children under 6 years of age are free, additional adults are regular admission ($15), and space is limited to 20 children. Each month’s Wednesday and Saturday Story Times share the same book and craft.

Storytime does not include climbing the lighthouse.

-Tickets are per night, per person.  Tickets are non-refundable and not for re-sale. Tickets are Limited and must be presented at the admissions gate.

Lighthouse Lecture Series

Twilight Yoga at the Light

Experience the serenity of Yoga with Mary Veal on the Lighthouse Deck at sunset every Monday.  Stay fit and calm the mind in this all levels class where beginners are welcomed and encouraged!

Bring a yoga mat, water bottle and a flashlight. Meet at the Museum 10 minutes prior to start time to check-in & sign waiver.  Registration is required online – no walk ups. Please note: gates close promptly at the start of the program and late entry is not permitted. Class is weather dependent – and refunds only issued due to weather. We will contact ticket purchasers via email 1 hour prior to start time with any weather cancellations. Please check website for updates and future start times.

Lighthouse Homeschool Mornings

  • Lighthouse Homeschool Mornings take place on the first Thursday of every month from 10:00am - 12:00PM, unless otherwise noted.
  • Students in 3rd through 5th grade will have the opportunity to learn about a new topic each month covering the B.E.S.T. curriculum in Social Studies, ELA, Science, and Art.
  • Tickets are sold as a 1 Parent / 1 Child Combo. Additional tickets may be purchased for children and adults as needed.
  • Children 5 and under are free and will have their learning center under the Seminole Chickee called the "Guppy Corner".
  • Students will be expected to work independently during the lesson and in small groups during activities. After completing the Homeschool Morning activities families may explore the Lighthouse and other on-site exhibits at their own pace.
  • Children must be at least 48" tall to climb the Lighthouse, but those who do not meet this height requirement can still participate in Homeschool Morning activities. 
  • Please arrive 15 minutes early for this program.

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum's Historical Trolley Tours

Join the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum’s Historian for a guided tour of Jupiter! Learn the rich history of the Jupiter area, from the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse’s own history to favorite spots of Burt Reynolds to significant Black  historical sites key to our local history.

Trolley Tours are available on select dates in January, February, and April. Trolley Tours have limited seating and advanced registration is required. The Trolleys are completely enclosed and provide air conditioning throughout the ride. Admission aboard the Trolley Tour also includes admission to the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum.
