The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) invites the public to a special meeting celebrating the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area (ONA). The event will take place on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse, 500 Captain Armours Way, Jupiter, FL 33469.
This date marks the anniversary of the site’s designation as an Outstanding Natural Area through the Consolidated Natural Resources Act of 2008. The meeting will also celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the BLM's National Conservation Lands system, which protects America’s most ecologically significant and culturally important landscapes, including the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse ONA.
Attendees will hear about the ONA's accomplishments over the past year, discuss plans for the upcoming year, and receive updates on key projects, including the Shoreline Stabilization efforts. It's an excellent opportunity for the community to engage directly with BLM leadership and partners.
