Celebrate Inclusivity at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse: Sensory-Friendly Exploration Day!

Looking for a meaningful family event in Jupiter, FL? The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum is excited to announce the second Sensory-Friendly Exploration Day, a community program designed for individuals of all abilities, with a special focus on autism and sensory processing needs.

On Sunday, October 18, from 12 PM – 4 PM, families are invited to join us for a day filled with discovery, connection, and inclusivity.

What Is Sensory-Friendly Exploration Day?

Sensory-Friendly Exploration Day is a welcoming event that adapts the Lighthouse experience to create a supportive environment for those with autism, sensory sensitivities, and special needs.

The program offers:

  • A modified Lighthouse tour with adjusted pacing and sensory considerations.
  • An engaging sensory exploration room with calming activities.
  • An adaptive nature trail scavenger hunt designed for all abilities.
  • A relaxing snack break under the Chickee Hut.

This event also connects families with local therapy, enrichment, and support services, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

With a heartfelt THANK YOU to our presenting sponsor, Searcy Law, the first 300 tickets are FREE!
